As the seasons shift, the winds of change are also sweeping through Shopware United. There are a couple of changes that we would like to announce.
The first is a change of leadership, with the long serving Borys Skraba stepping down as Chairman, to be replaced by Justin Biddle. Borys’s tenure as chairman has been marked by steadfast leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of our community’s values. We owe him a debt of gratitude for his tireless efforts and the wisdom he imparted during his tenure. As we express our appreciation for Borys’s invaluable contributions, we also turn our attention to the future under Justin’s stewardship. Chief amongst the plans moving forward are a commitment to increasing Shopware United’s reach and events schedule, to the success of the Shopware Solution Specialist project, and to a new initiative to create a community directory service and allow the whole Shopware Ecosystem to present their expertise to the wider world.
Secondly we have a new Board members to announce, welcome Katarzyna (Kasia) Sokół to the Board. Kasia is from Poland and is a project manager at Strix. She brings a wealth of experience, and a reputation for getting things done – something that will be invaluable in coming months. Thanks for volunteering Kasia.
The next few months are going to be an exciting time for Shopware United, and we look forward to increasing our offering within the community, and ensuring that the Shopware platforms and communities continue to grow, collaborate and thrive in ecommerce.
